At the Annual General Meeting held in the clubhouse on Thursday 27th October 2011 Mr Paul Sewter was elected as Club Captain for 2012. Following a warm welcome from the gathering Paul said he was looking forward to an exciting year and that he had received many offers of help already from the membership. He was certain that this support would be useful in forming Handicap, Competition and Social committes.
Paul informed the meeting that his chosen charity would be Parkinson Wales and he hoped that the membership would give this charity their support. He congratulated Adrian Tanner on his excellent year as Club Captain and thanked him for taking on the position of Competitions Secretary.
The Captain was pleased to announce that Mr Steve Williams had accepted his invitation to be Vice Captain of the Club and this was applauded by the meeting. Steve has been a very active member of the club and has been a strong supporter of the Halletts section of the club.
Mrs Hilary Mears has been elected as Club Secretary and was warmly supported by those present at the meeting.
