Ridgeway Golf Club has one of the most enthusiastic Junior Sections in Wales. The Junior Section is extremely well organised with Competitions being played every week thanks to the Junior Leaders Rob Johnson and Mike Mayer.
Congratulation to Danielle Reynolds on being named Junior Captain for the 2010 season.
Oliver Thomas will be vice captain.
With the full support of the members the Juniors have the benefit of the Course being reserved for them at 1pm every Saturday throughout the year, probably a unique occurance for any golf club.
We at Ridgeway are pleased to anounce that we have been awarded the highest award for Junior golf from the "Golf Union of Wales".
We are very proud of this award and look forward to recieving a plaque to confirm this from Mr Nigel Edwards on Sat 27th Feb.
This is a huge achievement for the club as a lot of hard work as been put in by Peter Johnson and past junior leaders Bob Dowers and Ian Hatherill.
Mike Mayer and Robert Johnson will aim to continue the fine standards set by there predecessors.

Well done to our Juniors Tom Bowen and Sam Mayer for reaching the final of the "Cock of the North" by beating Colin and Roger Jones.They will meet Andy Silver and Paul Sewter in the final on Sunday 21st March.Come on the lads, and its sure to be a competative game good luck guys .
Congratulations to Oliver Baker on achieving under 18 national honours when he was picked to play against Ireland at Cardigan Bay.Well done ollie from all of us at Ridgeway.
